WHY DO I NEED A QR CODE?: The QR code allows you to comply with the new regulations by displaying mandatory information without altering the size and design of your labels.
WHAT CHANGES WITH THE NEW REGULATION?: All wines produced from 8 December 2023 must include the indication of ingredients, allergens, energy and nutritional information, according to Regulation (EU) 2021/2117.
WHAT INFORMATION CAN I SHOW THROUGH THE QR CODE?: Information on ingredients and nutritional values must be provided, but this can be made available via a QR code on the wine label which sends the consumer to a web page with that information.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF USING THE QR CODE?: The print area. A QR code takes up very little space compared to a long list of ingredients and a nutrition table. It also gives the wine a cleaner and more elegant appearance.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NOW HAVE TO PRINT PHYSICAL LABELS?: There are cases where the label must be printed before all the nutritional information is known. With elbl.io you can download a QR code in advance and decide later to add all the necessary information.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I WRITE SOMETHING WRONG?: Don't worry, your digital label can be edited for free until publication.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PUT THE ELECTRONIC LABEL ONLINE?: Don't worry, it won't cost you anything. The cost of maintaining the electronic label online is already included in the price.
IS IT NECESSARY TO TRANSLATE THE TEXTS INTO ALL 24 LANGUAGES REQUIRED BY LAW?: We have created a database with all the translations. You just need to enter the data in your preferred language and we will take care of the rest.
