THE ART OF PRINTING

Labels are an art. They are an incredibly democratic form of communicating and highlighting yourself: you don't have to be a skilled lyricist to communicate simple ideas through images, you just need to use a lot of imagination and the game is on. done!

IMAGES: PIXELS & MARKETING

There is Have you ever found yourself in front of a huge shelf in the wine department to buy a bottle but you didn't know which one to choose? You will probably buy the bottle that suits you best. you like it based on the label, if it is harmonious, if it is coloured, if it goes well with the rest of the bottle etc. What we do in our graphic studio before proceeding with printing is to sell you that bottle of wine.

SEARCH FOR PERFECTION

All proofs and printouts created within our company are made with an unyielding determination to create an image masterpiece with the sole intent of inspiring our client's product. Every single pixel is carefully analyzed before being released, an obsessive attention to detail that filters through every UltraPixel product.

INVENTION OF THE PRINTING

Around the late 1430s, a German named Johann Gutenberg was looking for a way to make money. At that time, there was a fashion for sticking small mirrors into other people's hats or clothes so as to absorb healing powers. The mirrors themselves they were insignificant, but Gutenberg noted how lucrative it was to create a large quantity of of an economical product. During the 1300s and 1400s, people created a primitive form of printing. Basically, they carved letters into blocks of wood. The block was subsequently inked and then printed on paper. Gutenberg had already had work experience at the state mint and created that he could use the blocks with a machine to make the process more & # 39; quick. He, however, I don't use wooden blocks, but metal. This invention was called a mobile machine, since the metal blocks could be moved to create new sentences and new words. With this machine, Gutenberg printed the first book, which was a reproduction of the Bible.

PREPRINT

Once the proofs are confirmed, we need to adapt them to our printing machines. This is serious; perhaps the most important step critical: we have to translate the images from the screen to the print, transforming them from RGB (red, green, blue) into a CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) and pantone four-color process. We therefore need to to separate the various colors of the file to create the plates that will be physically inserted inside the printing machine. The plates are made with a CTP (Computer To Plate) system, which is a digital technology that involves the use of a RIP (Raster Image Processor). These special computers are used to process a file, which means reading the color selection and making it ready for printing. With a laser beam they expose the photosensitive material that covers the plates based on the layout data.

PRINT

Once the printing systems have been created, the order is processed and put into production, waiting to be printed. Subsequently the operator will assemble the the plants print on the machinery and will prepare it for to the press. The labels in turn pass through all the printing, varnishing, hot stamping and die-cutting processes, before being unrolled.

QUALITY CONTROL

Within the company we make sure to reach all quality standards and safety. Let's do yes that everything from the raw material to the finished product meets quality and the security defined in the purchase order document. The entire production process, from small to large runs, requires control elements and all inspections and tests are carried out to guarantee high quality. to the end customer. We also ensure that the material purchased from our suppliers meets the requirements required for processing.

PACKAGING

At UltraPixel, we pride ourselves on understanding what is needed and is important for our customers. We focus on inserting our customers' products with extreme care to ensure that they arrive intact at their destination
